Democrats would be making the same mistake as continuing with Biden—worse because Harris was appointed rather than voted into office.

It's much better for Harris to compete with many others for the nomination. Voter engagement and approval are essential in the selection process to produce the best and strongest nominee.

Democrats have a unique opportunity to win this election. Biden's debate implosion was a godsend not to be screwed up by insisting on Harris or another without a selection process.
