He also didn't say anything that Americans with eyes and ears (including those working in the White House) already know.

You could say that he did Democrats, Americans, and the world a favor.

Joe Biden has to convince middle voters that he is up to the job for the next five years. Critically, this is independent of Trump's look and behavior.
