Absolutely it makes sense that viewers of porn would be a cross-section of the public -- more male than female, but I maybe behind the curve with that.

Recently, or since Netflix, in my observance there has been a suggestion of cross over from porn into feature films and vice-versa that I viewed as being a healthy change to a more intergrated sex as part of our live (although Nexflix has more recently appeared to retreat from that -- proving too much, I guess). Other stuff is happening too, like cameras (as in the ever present IPhones) are party to getting layed -- and, it doesn't seem to matter if the captions become public.
