The tragedy for the Russian people is that there is no legitimate path to change administrations and have a more secure and prosperous way of life. This, of course, has been perfectly structured by Putin, the equivalent of a mobster boss.

It's important that the West do not close doors to ordinary Russians and continue to differentiate between Putin and Russia at all opportunities.
