The slaughter of Israeli civilians was a piece of grotesque THEATER to provoke Israel into actions it is now taking, which will have devastating results for Israelis apart from the deaths of 10,000 (and counting) Palestinians.

Young and talented Israelis are being needlessly killed and injured in attempting to remove Hamas, which militarily is near impossible.

There were other options for Israel. Not calling the terrorist attack a war. For the IDF to immediately secure Israel's borders and NOT pummel or invade Gaza. To directly get neighboring Arab countries, particularly Saudi Arabia, into a security agreement for the region, which has as its centerpiece a Palestinian state.
