Hamas performed the grotesque THEATER on Oct 7 to provoke Israel and America into damaging themselves. In this, Hamas had success likely beyond its expectations. Israel took the bait and is heading into a very deep hole which will be difficult and costly to climb out of.

Unfortunately, a weak American administration is following Israel into the abyss.

Netanyahu and the FDI's decision to pummel and invade Gaza is partly self-serving and will result in Hamas NOT extinguished, Palestinians and others disliking Israel even more, and the tragic loss of Israeli youth and talent as soldiers are put at enormous risk.
