Mitchell, sales of military equipment will increase with demand for them. Same as vaccines and medical supplies in a pandemic. Certainly good times for such providers, but we can be pleased these resources are available to confront both invasive Putin and COVID.

If you recall, Britain was caught completely flat footed by Hitler's Germany because of gross underspending on its military. It was initially called "phony war" because of it and millions more deaths occurred because of the shortcoming.

NATO was sleeping through various Russian attacks and Putin assumed that it wouldn't be woken by his assault of Ukraine. The backbone has been miraculouly put back into NATO. Where it absolutely needs to be. Essentially to protect the sovereignty of nations.

Does NATO always make the right decisions? No. But overall NATO makes sense.

Many thanks. Best to you.
