Mitch, it's in defense of the sovereignty of nations. Allowing Putin an unprovoked attack on a neighboring country will give the OK to repeat the action and for depots around the globe to do likewise.

True, America and the West are not consistent, but that is no reason for not responding in Ukraine, Kuwait, the Falkland Islands, etc.
