Employees' earnings are independent of what is made by CEOs and the profits of shareholders.
That said, there is an income disparity that hurts you, me, and everyone. Globalization was a fantastic advancement that raised the fortunes of most Americans, but it stretched the income scale, and critically some were left out of the dynamic.
To get back on track, we must provide a base for those disaffected to recover and invest in previously unrecognized and untapped talent. A base income could be an answer.
