The Israeli military is extraordinarily capable and well-equipped. They will have successful operations.

But Israel got into a hole when it didn't have to. Because of Netanyahu's "mighty vengeance," Israel is likely less secure and poorer today. I invite you to read "Was Biden Netanyahu's Chum or Chump?"

Israelis have had to withdraw from parts of their territory, are now facing many aggressive fronts, and relationships with countries worldwide, which Israel relies for its prosperity, have soured, including its biggest ally, America. Israel's invasion of Gaza has resulted in around 35,000 deaths, which could have been estimated BEFORE the invasion of Gaza and avoided AT NO LOSS IN SECURITY TO ISRAEL.

Hamas (or a following group) is NOT going to be destroyed militarily, or the hostages be released alive. At some point, Israelis must accept this reality.
