Immigrants are an engine of our prosperity, along with innovation and trade. Democrats must comprehend this as well as Republicans.

There exists a federal monopoly over immigration that impedes change. This hampers our well-being and prosperity -- part of the reason for embedded inflation. Much of the decision-making over immigration could be devolved to individual states so that they may import the help they need.
