Medium Staff

The paywall damages readership, which the platform desperately needs to grow.

I want to reference medium articles in other publications. Readers are unlikely to sign up to Medium to read one article, but they may if they can read a few a month.

Because of the firewall, many excellent writers now use Medium as a secondary platform. I now publish on my website for my readers.

That writers can go outside the payment plan to be read publicly is unrealistic
