Xi Jinping has swung China back closer to one-man central power, resulting in a real estate meltdown, a looming COVID disaster, and severe impediments to business. Biden has an incrementalist mentality in dealing with Putin and Ukraine and is nearsighted and protectionist when dealing with China.

America could better help a swift removal of Putin from Ukraine and be onto the rebuilding of both Ukraine and post-Putin Russia. It could also STOP building a wall between the U.S. and China. Wholesale blocking of technologies to China is counterproductive, even if it did work. The government building a chip industry is expensively asinine.

Suppose we can have better word leaders. Americans have no excuse; they vote for theirs.
