MartinEdic, although Biden doesn't have much control in the short term, he does in longer term policy. Biden's "Buy American" is inflationary because it discourages from buying better value goods from the world market. Why are you and I forced to buy drugs from within the U.S.? Think of the possible savings to the average American with that example -- a few hundred dollars a year maybe.

Tariffs from the Donald days remain on Chinese goods. Biden could instantly remove these and put back on every kitchen table year around around $500 to $1000.

A good chunk of the infrastructure and climate money that Biden successfully raised will be wasted because of the American made stipulations. For example, when cities replace their bus fleets with electric and are obligated to "Buying American" instead of something great value from South Korea (or God forbid China), that seriously and unnecessarily jacks up the price of our urban transport.

Many thanks.
