I agree that our shabby departure from Afghanistan and neglect of people serving American interests was unconscionable. I would go further. There was a fantastic opportunity squandered for the plight of women and girls in Afghanistan and the whole developing world. Women's equality is not only key to the prosperity and security of nations -- it includes reducing terrorism. Joe Biden was too thick-skulled to see this.
