The Democrats have a better hand than many people believe. And, precisely because there is so much turbulence, the US can move forward in many big ways. It's a moment to forge forward.

The evidence is plain to see and the Republicans fully understand that their roads are narrowing. Hence the rapture in Amy Coney Barrett (have article "Amy Coney Barrett -- On Rails to Our Supreme Court"). Republicans / White House have tried every trick to barricade the progress of others -- from voter supression in an imaginative variety of forms, opposition to more income and wealth equality, packing the courts with "firewalls" to social justice and resticting immigration that benefits us all.

Mapping out a way ahead for all Americans needs to be the priority for Democrats. They have the right timing now and they have an abundance of talent. Let's have them use both.
