Elon Musk has spearheaded and supercharged the transition to electric vehicles by producing sexy models that people really want. Without his leadership the big auto makers would be struggling. Also on climate, Bill Gates is a valuable voice as well as source of money and influence on transforming the world economies to green energy. There is a reason people sign up for Amazon Prime. It is a service so much better than what previously existed. Would you and I want to not have our iPhones? They are there because of Steve Jobs.

These few ultra talented folk did not totally produce these benefits to all of us, but without them, they wouldn't necessarily have happened. Are they perfect human beings? Absolutely not. But one thing is certain and that is that they put more money into your and my pocket than they take out.
