Manny, a CNN poll has the figure that 75% of Democrats wanted a nominee other than Biden. Most were happy with his achievements but thought he was too old for a second term.

The Biden camp is holding out to get beyond the time to replace Biden. They are almost there but still can't quite close the door. Why? Because he could too easily finish up like Hillary Clinton, savvy analysts are all too aware of this.
