Regrettably, the mistakes have already been made.

Joe Biden was selected to champion the moderate lane over a younger, more appealing candidate in the 2020 primary. Biden chose a questionable running mate, Kamala Harris. Biden was adamant on running for a second term when most Democrats didn't want him. Biden took so long to exit the race, and his final act was to endorse Harris.

We are where we are. Democrats are stuck with Harris, but that's better than Americans (and the world) being stuck with Trump -- again. Voters have become hostages.
