Replacing Biden is not without risk, but not doing so likely means another Trump presidency with all its destruction in America and the world.
There is an opportunity from the Biden implosion should Democrats recognize and seize it.
Although difficult, it's far from impossible to establish an open process for selecting a new nominee (I can think of at least ten talented candidates). NOT fixating on one person would increase participation, build consensus, and produce the best nominee.
Although it will likely appear chaotic, the process will generate excitement and invigorate the Democrats and voters to win.
