Let’s Test Joe Biden — Everyone Needs to Know

Hopes have limitations and when detached from reality can be especially dashed and leave the situation difficult to put right. Am I referring to Donald’s vanquish of Corona? Could be, but I’m not. We are doing the “Hope” thing with Joe Biden. Hope he won’t screw up on the final day of the Democratic convention. Hope he can make it through interviews. Hope he answers a few press questions. Hope he can face up to Donald in the debates. Hope the Oval Office doesn’t become a basement.

“What we would like to have” is no substitute for “What we have” and no amount of rearrangement or different angle gets around this.

Surely, Donald has shown us that pretending an issue doesn’t exist can so easily turn to disaster. For heavens sake, we identify approaching storms, make preparations to limit the damage and only then hope they don’t arrive. Why can’t we apply that order to Joe’s situation. Should Joe, because of providence, have failing mental health — who would not want to know? Donald, he doesn’t matter, but the Democratic party, the country and Joe himself? Absolutely it makes sense to have this information. I know it is very late in the day, but that only makes it more important, not less — to clear the blue sky of clouds.

We have to be reassured that the Democratic Nominee, Joe Biden, is up to the job in the White…
