Legalizing the the sale of pot makes perfect sense but the wealth tax deserves discouraging. France dismantled it because it raised little money and drove wealthy folk from the country. The nightmare of valuing all the assets of the wealthy isn't worth it (real estate tax is already a wealth tax but assessments are simpler). Much better to limit deductions of income tax and increase taxes on the dead.
