Cover of this weeks The Economist paper

Lauren Martinchek, the popularity of Elizabeth Warren went south when she moved (or was forced) to bring reality into ideology. This did not wear well and may well end with her losing Massachusetts. Warren is quite a different fish from Bernie. He operates off the ground and as an intoxicating messiah, revered for his pointed finger and angry voice — not much his policies or plans (as there really are none).

I recall a scene in the film Dr Zhivago, when Victor advises Lara not to get involved with Pasha, because an inflexible idealist like him brings only anger and unhappiness to all about them.

There is no joy in the Bernie camp. Have you noticed that?
