Lauren Elizabeth, the margins for Democrats were slim in 2020 and chances are that this year both House and Senate will return to Republicans.

Regardless of how you feel about the issues and whether progressives have the good solutions or not, Progressives do NOT have the votes.

Democrats have a fundamental problem that over the years have created themselves. Not aways deliberately. It was a downside of focusing their resources where they had best chances of winning. But the consequences are now real. Democrats don't have enough people at the local level across the country getting the message out. They try and megaphone the message from Washington and this DOES NOT WORK.

In battle, it's like relying on aerial bombing alone with no troops on the ground.

The elections are national and are not determined by those like AOC living in NYC regardless of how sensible their ideas. Ocasio-Cortez, if competing for office in the middle of America would be compelled to adjust her positions otherwise she would absolutely lose.

If the left have had move sway in the Democratic Party chances are the actual achievements would have been fewer.

Many thanks.
