This is Trump's bluster, not rooted in reality. While the oil companies will squeeze the last juice from fossil fuels, they understand that sales have peaked and investment into new drilling and fracking is not in their interests.

Trump's tariffs WILL increase the price of gas because significant crude oil is bought from Mexico and Canada (even at the lower 10% tariff).

Our president overwhelms us with directives, making us believe he has far more power than he has (it's a tactic). Trump can be stopped by targeting his enablers in Congress, as arguing with a moron is futile.
