Jonah Woolley, I want to believe your optimism but I don't think the evidence is there to support it. Immeditely after the assault on the Capital Buildings many Republicans maintained the lie that was resposible for the assault.

Trump will continue doing his worse unless he is deprived of the oxygen his enablers provide. The enablers have to be convinced that he is not good for them -- logically, this shouldn't be so difficult but we have successfully curtailed reason, evidence etc.
