John, Trump and DeSantis may divide the MAGA base and leave sufficient votes for another -- a long shot, but possible.

Regardless, Democrats should prepare themselves with the best nominee possible. That is not Joe Biden. They can get that person with an Open Primary and all tasing a good look.
