A Republican majority house with Kevin McCarthy at the helm would be, to use Dana Bash's term, "a shit show." McCarthy is NO leader and will be like a marionette pulled by strings from all angles.

Biden could have assisted the mid-term effort by months ago announcing that he would NOT run for a second term. This would have allowed young talent in mind for the presidency to be out supporting colleagues competing for the house, senate and governor races.

Biden, instead, was a drag.
