John, I agree with you.

There is a danger of crediting too much to Joe Biden, which can come back to haunt us. This guy has an ego that tells him that only he can run the country. Joe will NOT respond to polite suggestions and depart without a push. It happens to many in powerful positions -- FDR, Winston Churchill, Queen Elizabeth, and the list goes on -- and on.

I outline why Biden should announce his retirement in "Please, Joe, Not Another Term". I express in that article but stress even more: Apart from winning, the President has to lead America into the middle of this century and is not well equipped for that task.

When asked what he intends to do in the future, Biden responded with "nothing."
