The complication of a frail-looking 81-year-old seeking a second term when two-thirds of his party doesn't want him. A complication made more complicated by a previous complication of choosing a Vice President of dubious ability to perform the fundamental role of the position.

We are demonizing the messenger for the mess we have. Instead, we should regard Hur's words as accurate and immediately try to correct this predictable and avoidable situation.
