John,

Should the media give Biden a break? Absolutely NOT, because it won't serve Democrats, America, and the world. Biden is set for a fall in November, and Democrats must jolt themselves from their slumber, complacency, and cowardice.

Biden can still be set aside, and another nominee can be agreed upon at an open primary. It's certainly not perfect—that's why we have primaries. Faced with Biden likely losing the election, an open primary offers a chance to win.

As I said in "Biden Needs Help to Win 2024," short of ditching Biden, Harris, a passenger, should be replaced by someone who can reinforce Biden by filling in for his deficiencies—particularly his inability to communicate, the glaringly obvious one.

Best.
