Biden stood in the way of a younger, more talented candidate from providing a path into the century, leaving Donald Trump behind.

Biden elevated Trump by making him the centerpiece of his campaign. As Biden said, without Trump, he may not have run.

But we are where we are, and Trump is a dangerous option not to be entertained or afforded.

We have to vote for Biden. But any lasting legacy of Biden will be toast even winning.
