Joe Biden is the person most responsible for the defeat in a relatively straightforward presidential election. Although reasons exist for Biden not being totally to blame.

Voters, not the Democratic establishment, must select nominees. Walter Mondale, Al Gore, Hilary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris were picked by the bigwigs, and ALL lost (except Biden under the cover of a pandemic).

VOTERS chose Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, and they won -- and won again for second terms.
