In a presidential race against Dwight Eisenhower, Adlai Stevenson was assured by a supporter that every thinking American will vote for him.

"I think I need more than that," Stevenson replied.

Voters are flawed, but how flawed reflects the quality of leadership. We experienced the abysmal administration of Donald Trump on practically all fronts, followed by the mediocre leadership of Joe Biden.
