There are people in powerful positions who could significantly accelerate our progress on climate.
Removing the 27.5% tariff on Chinese-made EVs would be a good starter (and likewise, the tariffs on solar panels, wind turbines, and other green devices).
Americans would save around $11,000 when buying a new EV, lowering inflation, increasing our living standards, and significantly shifting us on climate.
A clever presidential candidate would be running on this fantastic deal for Americans. It could move us up on the world happiness charts. The guy with the "HEMI" could even buy into the new deal.
Unfortunately, Biden is on a slower path for the economy and climate.
