The two-state solution is a way for Israel to move forward and prosper. An arguably better solution is one inclusive state of Israel with equal rights for all its residents. Still, many believe this would diffuse the Jewishness of Israel, although the dangers are likely overblown.

Without either solution, Israel will remain in a state of friendless siege, not conducive to security and prosperity.
