Jamie McIIhatton,

Highlighting the issue helps. However, momentum

for green transition can be provided by incentives lifting peoples lives and not appearing to threaten them.

Allowing tariff-free entry to the UK of Chinese-made EVs would accelerate the country to a green economy, lower inflation and lift living standards. And, contrary to most opinions, would increase business and employment.

Lower tariffs on solar panels, wind turbine, etc. would deliver similar benefits.

And, if UK cities were not penalized for purchasing buses at a quarter or third the expense of European models, the need for oil would be diminished significantly.

Unfortunately, Europe and the UK are following the American protectionism which hurts their populations and slows the transition to green economies.

Best.
