James Rozof,

Harris is far from an ideal choice (as much as Democrats had one), but unquestionably preferable to Trump.

The U.S. will remain strong if it avoids a business and talent flight. The protectionist and isolationist directions hinder American innovation and competitiveness. If these trends are reversed, America will advance and not become a dying empire.

I wrote about the mistake of imposing tariffs, "Americans Can Save $11,000 by Buying Chinese EVs."

America is in dire need of excellent leadership. Unfortunately, we had the mediocrity of Biden follow the incompetence of Trump. Harris is Biden's legacy, and we can't expect too much.

Best.
