Jakub, not really.

Biden's initial response lacked intelligence, foresight, and resolve. In the critical first moments, Biden made an enormous error by offering Israel unconditional American support. He then flew to Israel and fell into the arms of Netanyahu -- a photo set to become infamous.

No later words of moderation into Bibi's ear would undo this initial mistake. Netanyahu would run with the wholesale backing he was given.

Biden should have declared publicly and unequivocally that America would NOT support the pummeling or invasion of Gaza. Moreover, this stance was perfectly consistent with American historical support of Israel.

Who knows what went on in Biden's mind? Maybe he just didn't get it, or his reelection concerns interfered with a better decision.

The slaughter of Israeli civilians was a grotesque piece of THEATER to provoke Israel and America into what they are now doing. Israel has pulled America into a gigantic pit, which has already resulted in ten times the deaths of October 7.

I invite you to read my latest piece on Biden, "Just Watch Me," We Have Joe, and It's Time to Go.

Best to you.
