Jacques Dexteri, it's fashionable to be anti-colonialization, and, besides, it's a little late in the day because it ended perhaps with the Spanish/American War.

I argue that for humanity, colonization was primarily positive. We would not have had the prosperity generated by international trade nor the industrial revolution with the benefits of wealth, science, arts, etc.

Was colonization perfect for everyone? No. But likely, we needed colonization to now tap away on our laptops. China wouldn't be what it is today, and neither America nor I would be here because we would not have had a New Zealand (an incredibly successful previous colony).
