I've referred to the quality as LIKABILITY. And to be elected President without it is almost impossible.

Your descriptions are excellent. Nixon finally made it to the White House without charisma. He was an exception in modern times.

Trump has LIKABILITY -- and can recognize it in others. Elizabeth Warren would never win the presidency. "Just not likable -- not like me," Donald commented.

As for DeSantos? NOT LIKABLE. The Democrats would need to screw up petty badly for him to become President. Always possible. They chose Hillary Clinton, another UNLIKABLE.

Secretary Pete? Now, he's LIKEABLE.
