Is President Kennedy overrated? Maybe a little and he got us into Vietnam. But his short time as president had real successes. The big one was averting a nuclear conflict with the USSR -- not something to be poo-hooed.

Kennedy was full of youth and optimism demonstrated in the American voyage to the moon that captured the aspirations of all the world's humanity.

Lyndon Johnson was enormously skillful at getting social legislation passed. Much credit to him. But this would have been considerably more difficult without young Jack Kennedy setting a path.

It's interesting that you begin with speaking ability. It is absolutely key to the position.

Many thanks.
