The funding to States which buys the loyalty to Moscow (you write that this is so in Chechnya) must have changed because of maintaining the war in Ukraine. How great is the danger now of individual governors going alone or at least wanting more autonomy from Russia?

Of course, this could already have been happening and motivated Putin to bring departing Ukraine back into the Russian fold.
