Income disparity is not great because it delivers Donald Trumps, Brexits, and Putins. The concern is more economic mobility rather than income inequality -- aspiration.

The rich don't make others poor. It's not a Robin Hood world. But the rich have become more prosperous because of regional, national, and global economies that all benefit.

Not everyone can afford a Bugatti, but many people today can afford a BMW compared to a few years back.
