I understand the frustration B Kean but chances are breaking up is not going to make you and I more prosperous or even happier. The U.S. is wealthy because of its size and huge domestic market. Europe battled to have something similar in the EU as well as a common currency. As a result member countries are a hell of a lot better off than before. The U.K. (unfortunately) found reasons to go it alone -- and most guesses are that it will cost them dearly (already has).

Another point that Keith Evans brings up is that the red / blue division is not what it was. The likes of Texas are becoming more liberal. The Republican base has narrowed and hence they are in such an off-the-wall panic.

The last few years have seen the U.S. move away from the rest of the world (and this is continuing under Biden). To my mind this is a huge mistake for our prosperity and democratic influence in the world. The U.S. breaking up (which I don't image you really serious about) would have enormous consequences for correcting climate change for instance.

But sure, let off some steam.
