I imagine Biden and Democrats doing little on immigration apart from trying to manage the scenes been photographed at the southern border.

There are real questions about the competency of the Joe Biden leadership. The President is directed more by public sentiment (and bad ideas) than intelligence available to him. The arbitary pull-out from Afghanistan and the bazaar arming Australia with nuclear submarines are examples.

It is an ecceptional time, because of both pandemic and Trump, where there is flux and changes can be made. But that window is now closing and I fear we as a country have not moved fast enough to really help ourselves. Unfortunately the Republicans are a mill stone, but we President himself has limited vision and seems deaf to others around him.
