Many Americans know the horror in Gaza and are wrenched by the barbarity and cruelty, but American leadership is tragically confused in its priorities. The view is through remaining in office and not more extended-term well-being for America, the Middle East, Israel, and Gaza.

How can polling numbers determine America's vote in the UN at the expense of tens of thousands of lives lost and hundreds of thousands of families displaced from their homes in Gaza, which will serve no one well -- the enormous harm to U.S. credibility and world order, security and prosperity for Israelis and the plight of Palestinians? It absolutely should not, but that's what we have unless it's plain incompetence.

We have a leadership problem. America went from lousy leadership with Donald Trump to mediocre with Joe Biden.
