Hossein,
The repercussions are not in American interests, let alone the world's. The reckoning will be in an uncooperative world apart from court action, which works slowly. Ironically, America is already experiencing this in the case of Ukraine, with friends Israel and India.
The Trump victory, promising all balls in the air and none on the ground, may produce valuable opportunities no matter how weird the circumstances (the Abrams Accords unexpectedly came about last time).
Biden has proven pretty much useless in the slaughter and destruction occurring in the Middle East. His most recent capitulation concerning aid delivery in northern Gaza is no surprise.
Trump wants the war to end because he doesn't wish to deal with it. He is more likely than Biden to call Netanyahu and declare Enough! under threat of stopping arms shipments.
As I have suggested, the timing is now to establish American direct communication with Iran and a platform for a normalized relationship. Biden can't see the opening, but Trump may fall into it.
Always best to you.
