America has a history with Jewish people because of the waves of immigrants fleeing Europe for freedoms and a better life. Irish Catholics arrived in the same numbers at about the same time. There were no great waves of Moslems to make a difference today.
It's essentially familiarity and acceptance of these groups over time. America has yet to have a Jewish president and remember the disturbance over Kennedy as the first catholic president.
Which group has suffered the most discrimination? I'm not sure if that's the most constructive approach. Better to focus on excellence from the many predominately Muslim countries to communicate and reinforce their importance.
I see a recent shift illustrated in Biden's what-are-we-doing-exactly Middle East trip. The U.S. and Israel appeared to be the outliers in a group of countries such as Iran, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia deciding their futures.
Many thanks. Best to you.
