Henryk, we need more historians to constantly remind us of how societies were built and fought to retain. Unfortunately through generations important structures suffer from familiarity, get lost and even attacked.

Democracy in America (and around the world) is currently under stress and who would have thought so a few years back. Democracy requires constant gardening.

The foundations of our high standard of living are often wholly attacked (on MEDIUM). Where only their downsides should be. I am referring to our great engines of innovation, finance, trade and immigration. Not to mention that evil of evils, capitalism.

Many thanks. Best to you.
